HAVE YOU EVER MADE PEACE WITH GOD?

You may be a regular reader of this publication.  You may even have been a regular attendee or member of this Church in the past.  Nor am I interested in getting you to come to this Church (although that would be great and you are welcomed).  What I am asking you to do, however, is to be honest before God and yourself.  If you haven’t asked Jesus Christ into your life, if you haven’t received His gift of Eternal Life, you need to do that today.  Jesus said, “I am the way, the Truth, and the Life.  No man comes to the Father but through Me.” Either He was lying, or you need to heed His Words.  There is no middle road.  There is no indecision.  To put it off, in God’s eyes, is to tell Him “No!” Only you know for sure.  Only God knows your heart.

If you are not sure about your relationship to Him, or if you want to commit your life to Him, here is a sample prayer you may wish to speak to God.  The words do not matter but your heart attitude does.

“Lord Jesus, I know that You died for me on the Cross and I know that You have been waiting for me to give you my life for a long time.  I confess Lord that I have sinned and have not had my mind on You much.  I do now want to get right with you.  Come into my life and make me Yours.  I’ll follow you the rest of my life as You give me the grace to do it.  I ask this in Your name, Amen”
